After collecting the leather from the dar dbagh we are coloring, cutting and sewing each item ourselves in our leather shop located in Fes.
Our leather is coloured by hand, which makes our products eco friendly as we avoid using harsh colorants while achieving bright colors.
With love and care we cut each piece into its uniquie and beautiful shape. While trying to avoid waste and make the best out of the leather we get.
To put together our bags, purses, shoes etc. we are sewing them in our studio. We carefully sew piece by piece to ensure neat and sturdy seams.
We add our final touch to each item to gurantee a log-lasting and timelessly beautiful product our customers can enjoy on a daily basis.
I am Ismail, a craftsman specializing in traditional handcrafted leather products. Growing up in the center of the 12-centuries-old city of Fes, I was inspired by our local tradition to create all kinds of products from leather for daily use. Each piece I make carries the spirit of our ancient medina and the techniques passed down through generations. I take pride in preserving this heritage while adapting my designs to suit modern lifestyles.
